Hypnosis is a natural brainwave state we enter into many times a day, for example when we are daydreaming, just before we go to sleep and even when watching television. Hypnosis a very pleasant and relaxing state and you will always be in control, awakening whenever you wish. Hypnotherapy uses part talking, part guidance in a ‘trance like state’ a bit like day dreaming, and techniques such as Neuro Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focussed Brief Therapy.
